North Hertfordshire Welfare and Distress Fund is a small independent charity fund administered by North Herts & Stevenage CVS. 

The fund aims to support those North Herts residents who are ‘in need’ with a small grant that may be used to purchase furniture, white goods or other household necessities.

Applications must be made by professionals such as North Herts Citizens Advice, Housing Officers, Social Workers or Children’s Centre staff using the form below. 

Individuals looking for assistance should first contact one of these agencies and ask them to refer their details through to us. 

Please do not contact us directly as we cannot process a grant without a formal referral.

If you are a Settle resident you need to contact your Housing Officer directly to make a request.
