Projects

In addition to the range of information, support and services provided to voluntary groups, NHCVS also manages:

• Breakaway Playschemes - providing short term respite for children and young people with additional needs;
• Community Transport Scheme - operating in North Herts and Stevenage, to help those with special access needs;
• Reach Out North Herts and Stevenage - linking up local volunteers with local people who are home from hospital and need a friendly face;
• The GoVolHerts Volunteering project - your one-stop hub for all volunteering opportunities across Hertfordshire;
• A number of pilot projects related to volunteering and the community;
