Looking for a meaningful way to make a difference in your community? Or maybe you’re a group in need of volunteers to help deliver your mission? You’re in the right place.
As the centre for voluntary services in North Hertfordshire and Stevenage, we support local charities, community groups, faith organisations, and social enterprises. We champion their work, help build capacity, and connect people who want to give their time to causes they care about.
We also run initiatives like GoVolHerts, the home of volunteering in Hertfordshire, making it easy to find opportunities and get involved.

Not ready to volunteer regularly? There are plenty of ways to support local organisations without a long-term commitment:

Children’s toys, games and playthings – Support Breakaway Playscheme, giving short-term respite to parents and carers of children with additional needs.
