Breakaway Manager
Sam originally joined us on a Maternity Leave contract to manage our Breakaway Playschemes in 2019 but has since been appointed long-term. Sam's background is in education and she worked on SEND playschemes in her youth. Sam is incredibly proud of the Breakaway staff team and together they always strive to provide fun and engaging respite care for children and young people with additional needs aged 5-19 living in Hertfordshire.

Anne Taylor
Membership Support Officer
Anne has been working with us for almost 15 years and has spent the last 25 years working in and with voluntary groups, much of it in fundraising. As our Membership Support Officer, she can help new community groups set up and help more established groups to meet challenges as they grow. This includes reviewing governing documents, developing management committees, funding advice, volunteer recruitment and much more.
Jon Brown
Community Transport Scheme Manager
Jon joined CVS North Herts & Stevenage as Community Transport Manager in June 2015. He previously served for six and half years as a Volunteer Manager for a successful overseas mission charity. It's been a privilege for Jon to see the Community Transport service grow and evolve and for it to be such a vital, reliable and friendly service for local residents across North Herts & Stevenage.

Natasha Dawson
Community Transport Coordinator
Natasha joined us in 2017 and now works in a job share with Nora to provide support for our Community Transport scheme. She previously worked as a Team Organiser and a Learning Resource Adviser and has fantastic organisation skills! Tash is a key part of the team and gets immense satisfaction from knowing that the Transport service is helping people get to important medical appointments.

Nora Anderson

Community Transport Coordinator
Nora joined us in 2015, shortly before our North Herts and Stevenage Community transport schemes merged with the Lister car scheme. Having previously been a volunteer driver for the Lister scheme, Nora primarily looks after trips and drivers in the Stevenage area. On her days off Nora even volunteers for the Transport Scheme as a volunteer driver!

Katie Staddon
#TeamHerts Volunteering Project Manager
Katie joined NHCVS as Project Manager of #TeamHerts Volunteering in January 2021. Prior to this she had been working in Local Government as part of the Community Engagement team. Volunteering has been a passion of Katie’s since the age of 16 and she has volunteered for both local and national charities. It was a privilege for Katie to join #THV at a time where the charity sector was invaluable in responding to the pandemic. Katie is enthusiastic about developing the vital role which #TeamHerts Volunteering plays in supporting charities, coordinating volunteers, and encouraging corporate volunteering across the county. Katie is a keen linguist and traveller, she has visited 49 countries and counting!
Jack Leggetter
#TeamHerts Digital Marketing and Events Officer
Jack joined the #TeamHerts Volunteering team as a fresh graduate from the university of Chester having gained experience within the charity sector through his university placements. He is a social media whizz, always full of great new ideas for recruiting volunteers and enjoys delivering our network and training sessions.

Vicky Hudson
Reach Out Project Manager
Vicky is our Project Manager and covers the entire County. Vicky has managed Reach Out since it first started in the north of the county and has led on the expansion of the project following a successful pilot stage. Vicky has worked in the charity and non-profit sector for 17 years, working with vulnerable people and families in advocacy and advice settings, as well as delivering support in health and social care.

Amanda Treadaway
Reach Out Support Coordinator (North Herts, Stevenage and East Herts)
Amanda is our Support Coordinator in the North and East of the county – covering North Herts, Stevenage, Welwyn and Hatfield, East Herts, and Broxbourne. Amanda joined Reach Out in December 2019 and has recruited lots of new volunteers and arranged lots of new matches since she started. Amanda has a background in care, the last 15 years being at the local Hospice.

Kimberley Buet
Reach Out Support Coordinator (West Herts)
Kim Buet is our Support Coordinator for the West of the county – covering Watford, Three Rivers, Dacorum, St Albans and Hertsmere. Kim joined the team in July 2020. Kim has worked in customer services for 15 years, before deciding on a career change into the care sector. Kim has care experience in a domiciliary and in a care home setting. Her previous job was coordinating activities in a dementia care home, where she was awarded employee of the year 2019.
Rachel Drury
Reach Out Support Coordinator (Central and East Herts)
Rachel is our Support Coordinator in the Centre and East of the county – covering Welwyn and Hatfield, East Herts and Broxbourne. Rachel joined the team in December 2020. Rachel has a background in education, as a class teacher in Inner City London and then running her own childminding business in Hitchin. She has lots of experience with volunteering for different organisations and charities, including shopping for the elderly as part of Reach Out.
