Our aim is to enhance the quality of life of the people in North Hertfordshire by promoting and developing voluntary activity in the local area. We’ve been working with the voluntary sector since 1985 and over the years we’ve helped literally hundreds of voluntary and community groups on a huge variety of different topics.

We’re here to help you - whether you are a charity or local community group looking for help and advice or an individual looking to volunteer.

Vetting and Barring Update

On Tuesday 15th June, the government announced that the proposed Vetting and Barring programme was to be scaled back to "proportionate and common sense levels". Full details of the changes can be found on http://www.crb.homeoffice.gov.uk/

From Monday 26^th July 2010 it will be mandatory to use the new CRB application forms.
